10 best AI visibility tools, priced and compared (2026)
Four of the ten AI visibility tools below cover ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode on a single plan: Cituna, Rankscale, Ahrefs Brand Radar and AthenaHQ. Cituna comes first: it tracks all 7 AI engines, writes the fix for every gap, shows which AI crawlers read your pages and publishes to your CMS, from $49 a month. Rankscale ($99 a month on Pro) prices tracking of more than 17 engines in credits, Ahrefs Brand Radar (from $199 a month) suits an established brand benchmarking its share of voice, and AthenaHQ ($295 a month) pairs 11 AI models with content recommendations. The other six (Otterly.AI, Promptwatch, Peec AI, SE Visible, Semrush and Scrunch) track fewer of them on their entry plans, from $29 a month.
Every price and feature below comes from the vendor's own pages, as recorded between 24 September and 22 October 2026. For a second opinion on which fits your category, book a 30-minute call.

How we chose these 10
We recorded the pricing and product pages of eleven tools between 24 September and 22 October 2026, a snapshot rather than the whole category. A tool made the list if it passed two tests:
- It monitors how a brand is mentioned or cited in AI answers.
- It publishes a price for a plan a team can buy without talking to sales.
Ten passed. Profound did not: after its 7-day trial it sells brands Enterprise by quote.
How the ten are ranked. First by coverage. The first group is every tool whose published plans cover ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode on one plan: Cituna, Rankscale, Ahrefs Brand Radar and AthenaHQ. The second group covers fewer of the six on its entry plan, or sells some as add-ons, picks or custom extras. Then, inside each group, by price: the lower monthly price comes first. In the first group that is the cheapest monthly-billed plan covering the six, which puts Rankscale on its $99 Pro plan, since Essentials is billed yearly only. In the second group it is the entry plan, and a tie goes to the tool with more engines on that plan: Promptwatch (4 models) ahead of Peec AI (3) at $95, and SE Visible (5) ahead of the Semrush toolkit (4) at $99.
What the ranking leaves out. It rewards engine coverage and published price, not data quality. This is a desk comparison of published pages, not a hands-on test. If your priority differs, such as an existing Semrush account, client brands or an API, the buyer questions below reorder the list.
1. Cituna: best for getting the gaps fixed, not only reported
Cituna asks seven AI engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Grok, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode) the questions buyers ask about a market, every day, and records the brands each one names and the pages it cites. For each gap it writes the fix, such as schema, FAQ markup, an llms.txt file or an article, and can publish to WordPress, Shopify, Sanity, GitHub or any CMS by signed webhook. It turns the sites the engines cite into an outreach plan with a pitch for each, and joins results to Google Search Console on every plan. Its MCP server gives Claude or another agent 22 read tools from Starter and 9 write tools on Pro.
- Best for: a team that wants AI visibility gaps fixed rather than only reported, outreach planned to the sites the engines cite, and results read beside Search Console.
- What it costs (read 22 October 2026): Starter is $49/month, billed monthly: 1 brand, 10 buyer prompts on all seven engines daily, fixes written on request, 30 AI-written articles a month and read-only API and MCP access. Pro is $119/month: 3 brands, 30 prompts, alerts, auto-generated fixes, competitor tracking and MCP write tools. Max is $399/month: 10 brands and 90 prompts. A 3-day trial of Starter needs a card, becomes Starter unless cancelled, and does not include MCP.
- Where it falls short: it does not track Microsoft Copilot, there is no free plan, Starter tracks 10 prompts for one brand, and competitor tracking starts on Pro. Cancelling stops renewal but does not refund a partial month.
Pages read: pricing and MCP on 22 October 2026, SEO Autopilot on 17 October 2026, home and about on 24 September 2026.
2. Rankscale: best for many client brands and rarely tracked engines
Rankscale tracks more than 17 AI engines, including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Grok, DeepSeek, Mistral, Copilot and Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode. It charges in credits: a check typically costs 0.25 credits per engine per prompt, and you choose how often each prompt runs, from hourly to monthly. Citation, sentiment and competitor analysis, query fan-out, page audits and an MCP server come on every plan.
- Best for: teams tracking many client brands, since Growth adds white-label dashboards; teams that need engines others skip, such as DeepSeek and Mistral; and anyone who wants to set the engines and frequency per prompt.
- What it costs (read 17 October 2026): Essentials is $17/month, billed yearly only ($204 a year): 120 credits a month, 2 brand dashboards, 10 page audits a month and no credit rollover. Pro is $99/month billed monthly, or $84/month billed yearly: 1,200 credits a month (up to 4,800 AI answers), 10 brand dashboards, 50 page audits and Looker Studio. Pro+ is $229/month and Growth $385/month, billed monthly. A 7-day trial of Pro has a limited credit allowance and becomes paid only if you continue.
- Where it falls short: credits make costs harder to predict, because a Claude check uses 2 credits and DeepSeek 1, against 0.25 for ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and AI Mode. The REST API starts on Pro+ at $229.
Pages read: pricing on 17 October 2026, home and imprint on 24 September 2026.
3. Ahrefs Brand Radar: best for benchmarking an established brand
Brand Radar is Ahrefs' tool for measuring how often brands are mentioned and cited in AI answers. Its AI Visibility Index looks up any brand across a database of search-backed prompts that Ahrefs runs through ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot, AI Overviews and AI Mode, with no setup. Custom Prompts tracks the questions you choose, including on Claude. It reports mentions, citations, AI share of voice and estimated impressions, and adds free Web and Bot Analytics for AI referrals and crawler visits.
- Best for: benchmarking an established brand's AI share of voice without setting up prompts, or tracking buyer questions on a per-check budget.
- What it costs (read 24 September 2026): Brand Radar AI, which includes the AI Visibility Index, starts at $199/month: research on any brand plus 83 tracked prompts a day (2,500 checks a month) on all platforms, Claude included. Custom prompt packages are $50, $100 or $250/month for 2,500, 7,000 or 25,000 checks. Ahrefs Lite, Standard and Advanced cost $129, $249 or $449/month and include 5, 10 or 20 tracked AI prompts.
- Where it falls short: there is no free trial; Ahrefs' pricing FAQ points to Ahrefs Free instead. Ahrefs says the Index may have limited coverage for brands with little or no search volume. Each Claude update uses 8 checks, and the Index's question sets are re-tested monthly, so it is not a daily feed.

4. AthenaHQ: best for tracking plus content recommendations
AthenaHQ tracks how a brand appears in AI search and suggests what to change. Its Starter plan covers ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, Grok, DeepSeek, Meta AI and Mistral, and usage is measured in credits, where one credit is one AI response. It adds source and competitor insights, content recommendations, a content optimization agent, robots.txt and llms.txt management, and integrations with Google Analytics, Search Console, Shopify and Webflow.
- Best for: trying AI visibility tracking free before paying, then tracking and content recommendations in one tool across 11 models.
- What it costs (read 24 September 2026): Essentials is free: $25 of credit (300 credits) on ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews, Gemini and Copilot, with unlimited members. The plans page does not say whether the credit renews. Starter is $295/month billed monthly, or $245/month billed annually: 3,600 credits a month, 11 AI models, CSV export, on-page and off-page actions and the content optimization agent. Enterprise is custom.
- Where it falls short: the only paid self-serve plan costs $295 a month. API access and extra credits are paid add-ons, priced on request, its published plans list no MCP integration, and tracking in multiple regions and languages is an Enterprise feature. Our AthenaHQ alternatives compare nine plans below $295.
Pages read on 24 September 2026: plans and home; MCP from the plans page as read on 1 October 2026.
5. Otterly.AI: best for a handful of prompts for a small team
Otterly.AI runs your search prompts daily on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot, with Google AI Mode, Gemini and Claude available as paid add-ons, and it reports brand mentions, website citations and a brand visibility index. It also audits URLs for generative engine optimization, includes a prompt research tool and tracks in more than 50 countries.
- Best for: tracking a handful of prompts for a small team, or several clients in separate workspaces on Standard.
- What it costs (read 24 September 2026): Lite is $29/month billed monthly, or $25/month billed annually: 15 search prompts, 4 AI engines, daily tracking, unlimited team members, 1 workspace and 3 recommendations a week. Standard is $189/month ($160/month billed annually): 100 search prompts, API and MCP access, Agent Analytics, a Looker Studio connector and unlimited workspaces. Google AI Mode or Gemini cost from $9/month and Claude from $29/month as add-ons at Lite prices. A free trial is offered, with its length not stated.
- Where it falls short: there is no free plan, Lite tracks 15 prompts, and Google AI Mode, Gemini and Claude cost extra on every plan. API, MCP and Agent Analytics start at $189.
Pages read on 24 September 2026: pricing, home and imprint.
6. Promptwatch: best for MCP and API on the first plan
Promptwatch tracks four models you choose from OpenAI, Perplexity, Google, Claude, Gemini, Meta, DeepSeek and Grok, checked daily, on a flat monthly fee rather than credits. Its first plan includes an MCP server and API access, and its integrations list includes Google Search Console. Professional adds Agent Analytics, its view of AI crawler visits, and AEO articles.
- Best for: a team that wants an assistant or a script to read its AI visibility data from the first paid month.
- What it costs (read 1 October 2026, plan contents re-read 8 October 2026): Essential is $95/month for 50 prompts and 6,000 responses on 4 models in one project, with a 7-day free trial. Professional is $245/month for 150 prompts. Business is $579/month, sold through a demo.
- Where it falls short: four models at a time on every self-serve plan, so it cannot cover all six of the engines this ranking counts on one plan. Essential holds one project, and articles and crawler analytics start at $245.
Pages read: pricing on 1 and 8 October 2026.
7. Peec AI: best for sharing data across a whole team
Peec AI tracks visibility, position and sentiment in AI answers, with share of voice against competitors. Plans are priced by the number of prompts tracked daily, and every plan includes unlimited users. Self-serve plans track 3 models chosen from ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI, and more, Perplexity included, can be added for a fee. It also analyses the domains and URLs AI engines cite, suggests prompts and actions, and reports on AI crawler visits and referrals.
- Best for: an SEO or content team starting AI search tracking that wants everyone on it, since every plan has unlimited users.
- What it costs (read 17 October 2026): Starter is $95/month billed monthly, or $80/month billed annually: 50 prompts, 3 models, daily tracking and 1 project. Pro is $245/month ($205/month billed annually): 150 prompts and 2 projects. Advanced is $495/month ($420/month billed annually): 350 prompts, 5 projects, multi-country tracking and Looker Studio. An extra model costs $35, $85 or $165/month on Starter, Pro or Advanced. A free trial is offered, with its length not stated.
- Where it falls short: there is no free plan, and each extra model costs extra. API access, SSO and tracking of Claude, Grok, DeepSeek and Mistral are Enterprise-only.
Pages read: pricing on 17 October 2026, home on 24 September 2026.
8. SE Visible: best for marketing and PR teams
SE Visible is SE Ranking's AI visibility tool for brands and agencies. It tracks prompts daily on ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overviews, recording brand mentions, sentiment, competitors and the domains and URLs cited. It collects answers through each platform's own interface rather than its API. Its AI Sources view groups the most-cited domains by category such as media, blogs and forums, and plans are priced by prompts and projects, with unlimited users.
- Best for: marketing and PR teams tracking how AI answers describe a brand, and finding the publications and forums AI engines cite, for outreach.
- What it costs (read 24 September 2026): Basic is $99/month billed monthly, or $79/month billed annually: 200 prompts, about 30,000 AI answers analysed a month and 3 projects. Core is $189/month ($151/month billed annually): 450 prompts and 5 projects. Plus is $355/month ($284/month billed annually): 1,000 prompts and 10 projects. A 10-day free trial is offered.
- Where it falls short: there is no free plan. Country tracking covers seven countries in five languages. Claude, query fan-out analysis and local AI visibility are listed as coming soon.

9. Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit: best for teams already on Semrush
Semrush's AI Visibility Toolkit scores a brand's AI visibility against its competitors, tracks chosen prompts daily on platforms such as ChatGPT and Google AI Mode, researches prompts and topics, reports on sentiment and share of voice, and audits whether AI crawlers can read a site.
- Best for: adding AI visibility data to a Semrush account already used for SEO, and finding prompts and topics to target.
- What it costs (read 24 September 2026): the toolkit is $99/month: 25 tracked prompts, 1 domain for Brand Performance reports and AI search checks in Site Audit for up to 100 pages. Semrush One bundles it with the SEO toolkit from $199/month ($165.17 billed annually) with 50 daily prompts, up to $549/month with 200.
- Where it falls short: Semrush says the toolkit has no free trial. The $99 toolkit tracks 25 prompts; 50 more cost $60 a month, and each extra domain for Brand Performance costs $99 a month. Each user needs their own toolkit licence, and Brand Performance reports update weekly rather than daily.
Pages read on 24 September 2026: the toolkit's pricing article and the AI visibility page.
10. Scrunch: best for mid-size and enterprise brands
Scrunch monitors how a brand shows up in AI search, tracking prompts, citations, competitors and sentiment, and audits websites for how AI agents read them. Its Enterprise plan adds the Agent Experience Platform (AXP), which delivers an optimised version of a site to AI agents without changing what people see. The self-serve Core plan covers ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Copilot. Scrunch's about page says it was acquired by Sitecore in 2026 and continues to operate as a standalone platform.
- Best for: a mid-size or enterprise brand with several teams, or one that wants to control what AI agents read on its site.
- What it costs (read 24 September 2026): Core is $250/month: 125 unique prompts, 4 AI platforms, 5 site audits a month, 1 brand workspace, 5 users and 5 competitors. Agency Core is $500/month, as listed in Scrunch's pricing FAQ. Enterprise is custom and has 9 AI platforms. A 7-day free trial of Core becomes a paid plan unless cancelled.
- Where it falls short: there is no free plan, and Core covers four AI platforms, one country, one language and five competitors. API and MCP access, Looker Studio, SAML SSO and AXP are Enterprise-only. Our Scrunch AI alternatives compare ten tools against Core.

Which AI visibility tool is best for a B2B SaaS team?
A B2B SaaS team needs to see the engines its buyers use to shortlist software, Claude and Google AI Mode included, and then change the pages those engines read. Cituna tracks all 7 AI engines, writes the fix for every gap, shows which AI crawlers read your pages and publishes to your CMS, from $49 a month, with results next to Search Console. If the team wants breadth over action, Rankscale tracks more than 17 engines on credits from $99, and if engineering wants the data in its own tools first, Promptwatch includes MCP and API on its $95 plan.
Which AI visibility tool is best for agencies?
Cituna Max ($399/month) tracks 10 brands and 90 buyer prompts with the fixes written for each, and Rankscale's Growth plan ($385/month) adds white-label dashboards and an agency programme.
