10 Best Scrunch AI Alternatives for SaaS Teams (2026)
The best Scrunch AI alternative for a B2B SaaS team that wants Claude, Gemini, Grok and Google AI Mode checked without an Enterprise contract is Cituna: it tracks all 7 AI engines, writes the fix for every gap, shows which AI crawlers read your pages and publishes to your CMS, from $49 a month, where Scrunch's $250 Core covers four engines and keeps the rest, with its API and MCP server, for a custom Enterprise plan. For MCP and API on a flat first plan, Promptwatch starts at $95; for the longest engine list, Rankscale at $99 on credits; and for Scrunch Core's own four engines, Copilot included, Otterly.AI at $29.
Scrunch is the baseline, not an entry. To have a team get your product recommended by the engines buyers ask first, book a 30-minute call.

For comparison, Scrunch Core is $250/month for 125 prompts on 4 engines (scrunch.com/pricing, read 1 October 2026).
Why SaaS teams look for a Scrunch AI alternative
Scrunch is a serious platform; these reasons are about plan shape, not data, from its pricing page as read on 1 October 2026:
- $250 is the floor. Core is the only brand plan with a published price, and nothing sits beneath it.
- Four engines on Core. Core tracks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Microsoft Copilot. Claude, Gemini, Meta AI, Google AI Mode and Grok are on Enterprise.
- The API and MCP server are on the contract. Scrunch lists an API, an MCP server and a CLI, with MCP access custom on Enterprise, so an engineer who wants the data in Claude or a script buys Enterprise first.
- Responses are metered. Core includes 5,000 responses a month. By our arithmetic, one pass of 125 prompts on four engines uses 500, so that covers about ten full passes a month, not a daily check of every prompt.
- Tight scope, no Search Console. Core covers one brand, one country, one language and five competitors, and no Search Console integration is listed.
What Scrunch AI does well
Give Scrunch its due. Core's 125 prompts are more than most entry plans here, and it covers Microsoft Copilot, which several alternatives do not. It adds citation and sentiment tracking, 5 site audits and 1 page optimisation a month, and AI bot traffic reporting. Enterprise carries the Agent Experience Platform, which serves AI agents an optimised version of a site without changing what people see, and no other tool here sells that. Scrunch's about page says Sitecore acquired it in 2026 and that it runs as a standalone platform.
An enterprise or multi-site brand that wants the agent-experience layer, or 125 prompts with Copilot on a published plan, should keep Scrunch on the shortlist.

How we chose these 10
This is a desk comparison of published pages, not a hands-on test. Every fact comes from the vendor's own pricing or product page on the date in the table, and every entry links there.
The bar. A tool is on the list if all three hold:
- Its pages say it tracks a brand's mentions or citations in at least three AI answer engines.
- A team can start it alone, on a published plan, a free plan or a free trial.
- Its pricing page was recorded within 30 days of this page's date.
Profound clears the bar through its 7-day trial. Scrunch is the yardstick and is not ranked.
The order. Scrunch Core leaves out six things a SaaS team often wants: Claude, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Grok, an API and an MCP server. We counted how many of the six each tool's cheapest monthly-billed plan includes, as its own page states, and sorted from most to fewest. A model you can pick counts as included. Ties go to the lower price, then to more engines on the entry plan. Profound comes last because it sells no plan after its trial. The count is a lens for that buyer, not a score of data quality.
What Scrunch keeps for Enterprise, tool by tool
"Pick" means the model is one of a fixed number you choose. "Not stated" means the pages we read do not say.

Ahrefs' Lite plan ($129 a month) includes API and MCP access, but that is an Ahrefs plan rather than Brand Radar on its own.
1. Cituna: best for seven engines daily and the fixes written, from $49
Cituna puts the buyer questions for a market to seven engines every day (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Grok, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode) and records the brands each answer names and the pages it cites. Four of those seven are engines Scrunch keeps for Enterprise. For each gap it writes the fix, such as schema, FAQ markup, an llms.txt file or an article, and it can publish to WordPress, Shopify, Sanity, GitHub or any CMS by signed webhook. It reads results next to Google Search Console. Its MCP server has 31 tools: 22 read tools from Starter and 9 write tools on Pro, hosted at https://mcp.cituna.com/mcp or run locally with npx -y cituna-mcp.
Best for: a SaaS team that wants Claude, Gemini, Grok and AI Mode checked daily, MCP and API on a plan it can buy today, and the fixes written, not only suggested.
What it costs (read 22 October 2026): Starter is $49/month, billed monthly, for 1 brand, 10 buyer prompts on all seven engines, 30 AI-written articles a month and read-only API and MCP access. Pro is $119/month for 3 brands, 30 prompts, alerts, competitor tracking and MCP write tools. Max is $399/month for 10 brands and 90 prompts. The 3-day trial needs a card, becomes Starter unless cancelled, and does not include MCP.
Where it falls short: it does not track Microsoft Copilot, which Core does. Starter tracks 10 prompts against Core's 125, competitor tracking starts on Pro, there is no free plan, and nothing here matches Scrunch's Agent Experience Platform.
Start the Cituna free trial to see which engines name you. Source: pricing and MCP page, read 22 October 2026.
2. Promptwatch: best for MCP and API on a flat first plan
Promptwatch tracks four models you choose from OpenAI, Perplexity, Google, Claude, Gemini, Meta, DeepSeek and Grok, checked daily, on a flat monthly fee rather than credits. Its Essential plan already carries an MCP server and API access, two things Scrunch holds for Enterprise, and its integrations list Google Search Console. Professional adds Agent Analytics, its view of AI crawler visits, and AEO articles.
Best for: a growth team whose engineers want AI visibility data in their own tools from the first paid month.
What it costs (read 1 October 2026, plan contents re-read 8 October 2026): Essential is $95/month for 50 prompts and 6,000 responses on 4 models in one project, with a 7-day free trial. Professional is $245/month for 150 prompts. Business is $579/month, sold through a demo.
Where it falls short: four models at a time on every self-serve plan, and Microsoft Copilot is not among the models its pricing page names. Essential holds one project, and articles wait for the $245 plan.
Source: Promptwatch's pricing page, read 1 and 8 October 2026.
3. Rankscale: best for the longest engine list, on credits
Rankscale monitors more than 17 AI engines, among them ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Grok, DeepSeek, Mistral, Copilot and Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode, so one plan reaches Scrunch Core's four engines plus Claude, Gemini, Grok and AI Mode. You pay in credits and set each prompt's frequency, from hourly to monthly. Citation and sentiment analysis, page audits of any URL and an MCP server come on every plan.
Best for: a team that needs both Copilot and Claude, or engines most tools skip, and is happy to manage a credit budget.
What it costs (read 17 October 2026): Pro is $99/month billed monthly, or $84/month billed yearly, for 1,200 credits a month, with a 7-day trial. Essentials is $17/month but billed yearly only ($204). Pro+ is $229/month and Growth $385/month with white-label dashboards, billed monthly.
Where it falls short: a Claude check takes 2 credits and DeepSeek 1, against 0.25 for ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and AI Mode, so the bill moves with your engine mix. The REST API starts on Pro+ at $229, and the action layer is audits, not written content.
Source: Rankscale's pricing page, read 17 October 2026.
4. AthenaHQ: best for a free plan, then 11 models with Search Console
AthenaHQ's first paid plan costs more than Scrunch Core, and it earns its place by covering what Core leaves out. Its Essential plan is free, with 300 credits on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini and Copilot. Starter covers 11 models, Claude, Grok and AI Mode among them, connects Google Search Console and GA4, and adds a content optimisation agent. One credit is one AI response.
Best for: a team that wants to start at $0 and later pay for broad model coverage with Search Console built in.
What it costs (read 1 October 2026): Essential is free. Starter is $295/month billed monthly, or 17% less billed annually ($245/month), for 3,600 credits a month. Enterprise is custom.
Where it falls short: nothing is published between $0 and $295. By our arithmetic, 3,600 credits cover about 11 prompts a day when each runs on all 11 models. API access and extra credits are add-ons priced on request, and its published plans list no MCP integration. Our AthenaHQ alternatives go deeper.

5. Ahrefs Brand Radar: best for market-wide AI visibility data
Brand Radar is Ahrefs' AI visibility product, sold on its own, and it works two ways. Custom Prompts track your own questions on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot and Claude, with a daily, weekly or monthly refresh per platform. The AI Visibility Index shows how often any brand is mentioned across Ahrefs' own database of prompts modelled on real searches, with no setup.
Best for: a SaaS team that wants to see its category's AI share of voice before it tracks a prompt of its own, or that already lives in Ahrefs.
What it costs (read 2 October 2026): Custom Prompts start at $50/month for 2,500 checks, which Ahrefs sizes at about 83 prompts a day on one platform. The AI Visibility Index is $199/month for one platform or $699/month for all of them.
Where it falls short: checks are metered per prompt, platform and update, and a Claude update uses eight, so the $50 package covers about six prompts a day across all seven platforms. Grok is not on its list, and the pricing FAQ points to Ahrefs Free rather than a trial.

6. Peec AI: best for three engines you pick and a seat for everyone
Peec AI prices by the number of prompts tracked each day, lets you choose the models, and includes unlimited users on every plan. It analyses the domains and URLs AI answers cite, suggests prompts, runs a gap analysis with recommended actions and reports on AI crawler visits. Its paid plans include an MCP server.
Best for: a marketing team where product marketing, content and SEO all want their own login, on three engines chosen from ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, AI Overviews, Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI.
What it costs (read 17 October 2026): Starter is $95/month billed monthly, or $80/month billed annually, for 50 prompts on 3 models in 1 project. Pro is $245/month for 150 prompts and Advanced $495/month for 350. An extra model on Starter is $35/month. The free trial's length is not stated.
Where it falls short: Claude, Grok, DeepSeek and Mistral are tracked only on the custom Enterprise plan, which also holds API access and SSO, so for an engineer it is MCP without an API.
Source: Peec AI's pricing page, read 1 and 17 October 2026.
7. SE Visible: best for marketing and PR reporting on a large prompt set
SE Visible is SE Ranking's AI visibility product. It runs prompts daily on ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Mode and AI Overviews, logging mentions, sentiment, competitors and the domains and URLs cited, with answers collected through each platform's own interface. Plans are priced by prompts and projects, with unlimited users.
Best for: a communications or PR lead who reports how AI answers describe the brand and wants many prompts for the money.
What it costs (read 24 September 2026): Basic is $99/month billed monthly, or $79/month billed annually, for 200 prompts and 3 projects. Core is $189/month for 450 prompts and 5 projects. Plus is $355/month for 1,000 prompts, sold through a demo. There is a 10-day free trial.
Where it falls short: Claude is listed as coming soon and Grok is not listed, country tracking covers seven countries in five languages, and it reports rather than writing fixes.
Source: SE Visible, read 24 September 2026.
8. Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit: best for AI data inside Semrush
Semrush's toolkit scores a brand's AI visibility against competitors, tracks chosen prompts daily on platforms such as ChatGPT and Google AI Mode, researches prompts and topics and audits whether AI crawlers can read a site. Its competitor research lists the prompts where rivals are cited and you are not.
Best for: a SaaS team that already runs its SEO in Semrush and wants AI answers next to its keyword and audit data.
What it costs (read 24 September 2026): $99/month for 25 prompts and 1 domain for Brand Performance reports. Semrush One Starter, which bundles SEO and AI visibility, is $199/month billed monthly with 50 daily prompts.
Where it falls short: there is no free trial of the toolkit, each user needs a licence, 50 more prompts cost $60 a month and Brand Performance reports refresh weekly. Semrush's MCP server, read on 22 October 2026, covers its SEO, Trends and read-only Projects data and does not name the toolkit.
Source: Semrush's toolkit article, read 24 September 2026, and Semrush MCP documentation, read 22 October 2026.
9. Otterly.AI: best for Scrunch Core's four engines at a fraction of the price
Otterly.AI runs your prompts daily on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot, the same four engines as Scrunch Core, and reports mentions, cited websites and a visibility index. It adds a GEO audit for single URLs and a prompt research tool, with unlimited team members.
Best for: a small team whose buyers use ChatGPT and Copilot and whose prompt list is short.
What it costs (read 1 October 2026): Lite is $29/month billed monthly, or $25/month billed annually, for 15 prompts. Gemini and Google AI Mode cost $9/month each on Lite and Claude $29. Standard is $189/month for 100 prompts, with API and MCP access. The trial's length is not stated.
Where it falls short: it sells no Grok, and Gemini, AI Mode and Claude are add-ons. Its API and MCP start $160 above Lite, and 15 prompts is a small set for a SaaS category.
Source: Otterly.AI's pricing page, read 1 October 2026.
10. Profound: best for an enterprise contract with prompt-volume data
Profound is the other enterprise platform here. Its Answer Engine Insights tracks how a brand appears in AI answers, Prompt Volumes estimates what people ask AI assistants, and an agent called AI Marketer researches and writes from that data.
Best for: an enterprise team that wants demand-level prompt data and SSO on a contract and is comfortable with a sales cycle.
What it costs (read 1 October 2026): a free 7-day trial runs 50 prompts a day on ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, from a prompt set you cannot edit. After it, Enterprise is custom, and its engine list adds Perplexity, Google AI Mode, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, DeepSeek and Exa Search. The $99 Starter and $399 Growth brand plans it showed earlier in 2026 are no longer listed.
Where it falls short: there is no published price for brands and Grok is not on its engine list. Our Profound alternatives compare ten tools that publish a plan.

Which Scrunch AI alternative is best for a B2B SaaS team?
A SaaS team usually needs three things Scrunch Core does not give it at $250: the engines its buyers use to shortlist software, a way to get the data into its own tools, and someone to change the pages the engines read. Cituna covers all three from $49. If your engineers want a flat plan with an API and can live with four models, Promptwatch at $95 is the closest match; if Copilot matters as much as Claude, Rankscale covers both on credits.
Which Scrunch AI alternative is best for agencies?
Scrunch's Agency Core is $500 a month. Cituna Max covers 10 brands and 90 buyer prompts for $399 a month, with the fixes written for each client. Rankscale Growth adds white-label dashboards at $385 a month. Otterly.AI Standard has unlimited workspaces at $189 a month, and SE Visible keeps 3 projects on its $99 Basic plan.
What is the cheapest Scrunch AI alternative?
Otterly.AI Lite has the lowest monthly bill at $29, for 15 prompts on Scrunch Core's four engines. Cituna Starter is $49 for 10 prompts on seven engines, Claude and Grok included. Ahrefs Brand Radar custom prompts start at $50, metered in checks, and AthenaHQ's Essential plan is free with 300 credits. Rankscale Essentials works out at $17 a month but is billed as $204 a year.
Which Scrunch AI alternative is best for enterprise brands?
Cituna, the site's pick for most teams, tops out at Max: $399 a month for 10 brands and 90 buyer prompts, on a published plan. If you want to stay on an enterprise contract, Profound and AthenaHQ Enterprise sell one, and Peec AI's custom Enterprise plan adds Claude, Grok, the API and SSO. If the Agent Experience Platform is the reason you bought Scrunch, no tool on this page replaces it, and staying is the honest answer.
How to switch from Scrunch without losing your baseline
- Export your prompts and competitors from Scrunch.
- Cut the list to comparison prompts, such as "best X for Y" and "X alternatives", since several entry plans track 10 to 50.
- Run the new tool beside Scrunch during its trial on the same prompts and domain.
- Connect Google Search Console where the tool supports it, to read AI answers against real clicks.
Being named takes more than a tracker. Read how to get a SaaS product recommended by AI engines, compare the best AI visibility tools or the AI visibility tools with an API or MCP server, or book a 30-minute call to have a team do the work.
